My short story, Unbuttoned, was published in Typishly, the American online literary magazine, in June 2020.
Robin stands in front of her, helpfully lifting his tie. As she undoes the buttons of his shirt, she wonders if Robin is remembering his mother. Or a lover from the past? Is this what lovers do? Judy doesn’t know. She’s never had a lover. Only what her colleague, Denise Duffy, calls ‘occasional flings’. But none of them has developed into anything more.
